About This Course

A Certificate III in Aged Care enables a student to provide care to elderly people. Generally, caring is conducted in a retirement home or similar type of aged care facility and under supervision. 

On-Site Requirements

We can run this course at your facility assuming that you meet the minimum requirements for practical skills and theory sessions. This course requires: 

  • A theory session room with chairs and tables adequate to the number of students enrolling along with an additional seat and table for the trainer/assessor 
  • A practical training room with aged care equipment as per the following:
    •  Hoist / Lifting machine

    • Standing machine

    • Slings x 2

    • Mattress and bedcovers

    • Slide sheet

    • Manual wheelchair

    • Walker with wheels

    • Walking frame

    • Bedpan

    • Urinal jug

Certificate IV in Aged Care - Onsite ›

About This Course

Our Certificate IV in Aged Care is the best way to progress your workers into management. This course has some prerequisites that are attained through the Certificate III course. 

On-Site Requirements

We can run this course at your facility assuming that you meet the minimum requirements for practical skills and theory sessions. This course requires: 

  • A theory session room with chairs and tables adequate to the number of students enrolling along with an additional seat and table for the trainer/assessor 
  • A practical training room with aged care equipment as per the following:
    •  Hoist / Lifting machine

Fees For On-Site Courses

Fees for these courses depend on the number of students, location of interest, and periods of the day in which you would like training to take place. An on-site aged care expert at HSTA can raise an individual quote for you. Contact us today to learn more.

Please note that these fees may be increased if your venue is considered to be more than 90 minutes from the Melbourne CBD.
